About the STEP 3 project

STEP 3 is an answer to the challenges related to the rapid transition to new forms of e training in the VET environment. The main aim of the STEP 3 Project is to support digital education readiness, delivering 30 innovative, tailored e-learning modules in the form of OER for the upskilling of VET teachers and trainers.

Project Ιnnovation

STEP 3 incorporates numerous of innovations through:

the introduction of technological innovations (e-tools and vivid material for training) in the form of 30 Learning Modules, delivered as OER through the 2 major and largest VET umbrella Organizations in Europe, bringing the gap between the current needs of VET Institutions / Teachers and Trainers.
the improvement of the online learning experience, career guidance and peer mentoring for the enhancement and wider use of the OER solutions to be developed during the STEP 3 project.

Main Project Outputs

Output 1: Analysis of the framework for the ICT upskilling of VET teachers and trainers

Identification of the challenges of the transition to e-learning faced by VET high-ranking staff, teachers and students
Identification of the most commonly used e-learning platforms and their main features and functionalities
Understanding the contemporary visualization tools for e-learning
Specification of the features that need to be covered in the OER to be produced under IO2, based on the analysis conducted in the previous tasks

Output 2: Design and delivery of the O.E.R. of STEP 3

Definition of Learning Objectives, where we are going to answer the question of “what will the participants have learned after the completion of the trainings using the OER?”
Preparation of training modules for an e-portfolio of OER for VET teachers
Design the MOOC platform & uploading of the material
Incorporation of MooCs in the operation of the Umbrella Organizations

Output 3: Delivery of Peer Learning of Step 3

Design and delivery of peer learning strategy and material
Call for participants within each VET organisation
Implementation of peer learning activities
Evaluation and certification of peer learning activities

Αll Multiplier Events are going to be addressed to major stakeholders, VET Teachers/Learners/Staff, VET Learners, other VET providers, Experts from the membres of EVBB in Germany and all potential beneficiaries from the Project Outcomes. Academics, policy makers, other associations representatives are also going to be invited.
